Mantyrano was developed as a 115-metre estuary tanker for reliable inland and sea-ready operation. Built with Den Breejen and delivered in 2001, the vessel combines practical tanker design, diesel propulsion, heated cargo capability and operational reliability for demanding cargo conditions.
The vessel was designed for heated cargo up to 90°C, with cargo piping, deck systems and unloading functionality integrated around dependable daily use. This made Mantyrano suitable for heated product transport and heavy fuel oil cargo operations.
A defining feature of Mantyrano was its early electric unloading capability. At a time when this was not yet standard, the vessel was equipped to support electric unloading, helping improve operational control and practical cargo handling performance.
